what's in this email: a good feeling to keep you away from bad stuff Monday September 21, 2026 10 AM Greetings you Thinkers, Monday, new week, post mid September, Fall. What's in the bag of this time of life?Duck is still sick. Coughing and hacking and retching, sneezing. It's weird to see a dog have a cold. Wiping his snotty nose... And I am worried and concerned and thinking about if and when to take him to the vet along with all my stuff of medical system resistance. Do we really need to go??... Thinking about hateHate is not a common feeling for me, and it came up recently. And then I felt bad for feeling it. Hate is a bad feeling, a feeling we are not supposed to feel. That is somewhere in side of me but I don't know where it came from. I don't have an origin or an origin story for how I got those ideas. Like the lots of things we pick up along a life, take in as true, but don't really think about them and decide them for ourselves, until something like this, makes you question it. Assuming you do think enough about it to question it. This is me questioning it. Is hate really bad? Really a bad feeling? Really something I should try not to feel? I am suspecting maybe it's not all bad. Maybe it's okay to feel hate. Maybe hate as a feeling is condemned for what it can lead to. But that would be what you DO with hate; that's not the feeling itself. But maybe that's the point of whoever is preaching not to hate - you must deal with or avoid the SOURCE. So if hate is the source of bad actions, the logic is - cancel the feeling to cancel the action. But what if you can have the feeling and choose good action? I can feel hate and not move to hurt some one from it. I can feel hate and use it to orient myself in a good way in my life. Stay away from that that I hate, would seem like a good way to use it. Hate is a strong feeling. Is hate the opposite of love? I recall a quote that says hate is NOT the opposite of love. Indifference is. But let's go with hate is the opposite for now, to consider this idea. I say (when is it which) , which = every true thing has its equal and opposite truth. What do you think? What else? On reading yesterday's email, now the idea of a Kymology Challenge anytime soon feels impossible. Adding anything else to my plate right now feels potentially insurmountable.. What does this have to do with you today? πΊ KG βAll the emails in a list β standouts / other thoughtsβ

Reflecting on my life whether it's looking back at the last month or doing a "this time last year" thing, shorter or longer time frames, doing this at all is a reflection of who I am. That I care to consider who I am, who I have been, what I have done, so that I may use all of that to inform what I do and who I am in the present and the future. That I reflect is a reflection of who I am.

I chunk out my days, to the minute, in Gcal.
I love to putter so if it becomes "I puttered my life away" so be it.
I'm not a cherry picker, of anything. I like to use things that exist rather than start from new or scratch.
I am an ostrich about politics, news, current events, pop culture and media.
I dislike clichΓ©s and most positive quotes, under thought things meant well, commonly said quotes and phrases.
Don't tell me what to do, don't ask me "how how are you?" or say "I'm sorry for your loss" unless you want to annoy me or you really, really mean it. And know it can be hard to tell which it is, and I'm wrong not infrequently.
30 Day Challenges are my thing. I have a tendency to make things every day things. This is where 30 Day Challenges come from!
Like yourself. Know yourself. Express that self.
Think about things. Don't feel like you have to dance in the rain to have a good life.
Don't have a plan. Stand for what matters. Read when you want to. Don't smile when people tell you to.
Don't have goal. Tend plants. Leave marks. Do what you say. Change YOUR world. And your mind!
Be a friend and a daughter and a partner and a sister and a dog mom.
In a world full of "accept who you are" messages, don't forget to be a "work on that" kind of person.
Don't put kindness above truth. Try new things. Be honest. Live by ideals. Have some whimsy.

If you say I'm overthinking it, I'll probably say you are underthinkig it.
why I do what I do: I want to "make you" THINK. I don't mind if your experience and perception of me "makes you" be more mindful, use your brain more, "think too much" or consider something more carefully, or differently, or moves you to be (more) thoughtful or intentional or authentic.
I am a hugger and I mean my hugs.
I don't like to have scheduled things. The days where I have something scheduled are a certain category of feeling. I'm not very fond of pre sign ups, committing to things in advance externally. My favorite days are the ones I call "blank slate days". Nothing scheduled, nothing formally EXTERNALLY committed (I am full of internal commitment and ideas all the time, so no day is truly uncommitted).

So which is it Kym. Do you like wide open clean slate no commitment things?
Or you "need" want and thrive in containers, defined spaces, rules and limits?

what's in this email: the bad eggs fall away maybe it really is time to SLOW DOWN like the signs say Tuesday September 22,, 2026 9 AM Greetings you Thinkers, You know how I do the "monthly recaps"? Reviewing the month, seeing what stands out, what I did, what I said, themes and thoughts, and then I put all of that into one write, one email. Well I did that for running with turtles and slowing down this morning because I think that topic has come to a head. I think it's time to actually do it....

what's in this email: maybe I need an overall correction of perspective wondering if my perspective is a problem Whether everything is perspective or not, I believe everything is perspective. Saturday September 19, 2026 9:30 AM Greetings you Thinkers, Today is neighbor Betty's celebration of life. I recently thought about celebration of lifes VS "traditional" funeral services and I have some wonderings about if the newer norm of celebrating VS mourning may be negatively impacting versus the...
