Greetings Thinkers, Friday. Almost weekend. Mother's Day is coming up. What do you do for it? I feel rather drained this morning, in an extra kind of way. We have wedding things and there was a rehearsal dinner last night that "wore me out" in a variety of ways. The wedding is this evening. I am trying to get Things & Stuff stuff done today before I have to get back to the house to dress up for this thing and be at the thing by 5pm. What for a topic today? I'm starting to worry more and differently about getting this done. This being the email. Soon I'll be starting a thing that requires me to be somewhere at specific times, like a "job" schedule" and I haven't had that kind of committed organization of my time in a long time. (I'm not taking a job but I am giving myself a job. One way to put it.) I'm nervous about it. If I regularly have to be somewhere by say 10am, "how" am I getting this done in the mornings? Another instance of maybe I have to move where it's at in my day. Could this be an evening, end of day thing? But the couple of times I have tried that, I found I did not want to do this by that part of the day. That brought up "ideal times of day" stuff that I have thought about before. Like work zone stuff. Have you ever read about that? It's kind of like chrono type stuff. It says that we have times of day based on our individual make ups to some extent, and that there are times that are better than others to do different things. "Science says most people hit their mental peak 2–3 hours after waking. But your exact curve depends on your chronotype ( whether you're an early bird or a night owl)." This would support why I don't "feel like" doing writing stuff at the end of the day. I have never FELT this strongly in my life. I once did a Kymology Challengere where I was committed to doing 10 hours of Book Work per day. Clearly I was writing past the 2-3 hour waking window to do that and I never felt - I "can't" do this kind of stuff at this time of day. But maybe I do feel that now. They say our allergies change with age, or by number of years, maybe this does too! Whatever it is, I'm thinking about it. Ending it doesn't seem to be an option. Doing it all seems to be really good for me. It keeps me IN this kind of work. How easy it would be for me to do none of this with all the Things & Stuff stuff I have going on. The wiring work is still very much a thing I consider MY WORK, who I am, what I want to do too, but with all the Things & Stuff stuff I have in "overdrive" it would be easy to let this and all writing go away, become non existent and I don't want that. In that way, this feels great and very much exactly what I should be doing. Even when I also worry that what I'm writing about isn't any good or interesting or "book worthy". The difference between writing about whatever is going on for me in a day, that is occurring to me in the morning of that day, VERSUS writing out sections (topics and stories) of The Book, is something I wonder about often. Sometimes this does overlap and book stuff happens to get done, stuff that I think would be book material.. And often it doesn't, like this morning where I'm like " what to write about" on a day when a compelling something isn't there. ... And then there's the fact and beauty that the nature of stream of consciousness writing is that usually it gets you to something. If you work it, it works. why is the subject "running with turtles" after all this rambling woe is me stuff? I said a few days ago that life is going fast, I am going fast, and I may be missing things. I saw a meme that said something about running with turtles and I put it down as something to come back to, the way I do. maybe write to it, think about it more, and so on. What I actually put down in my note - "I think I wouldn't mind running with turtles for awhile" but then I thought, is that true? DO I want to slow down? if that's what running with turtles means? If I did want to go slower, isn't that what I would be doing. Doesn't want it bad enough, if so, goes here. what do you think? 🔺 KG I didn't get a single picture of myself dressed up yesterday. standouts / other thoughtsthe cost of gas is finally something I feel word of the daylaggard: someone who moves slow or more slowly than others. use it: “Running with turtles teaches you that the laggard is often the only one still moving at sunset.” I wonder what work chromo type the turtle is, if he's writing at sunset. quote to considernow I'm on a Dostoevsky thing "Above all, don't lie to yourself. The man who lies to himself and listens to his own lie comes to a point that he cannot distinguish the truth within him, or around him, and so loses all respect for himself and for others. And having no respect he ceases to love.” Energy to you. If you know someone who you think would like this, please forward this email. what happens when you reply to this email? I reply to you. YES, YOU CAN SHARE THIS Things you could know about me:order: newest adds at the top, older things at the bottom when all my identities are umbrellas I love a good double negative! Plan in quotes because I'm so averse to "plans" and "goals". I chunk out my days, to the minute, in Gcal. I love to putter so if it becomes "I puttered my life away" so be it. I'm not a cherry picker, of anything. I like to use things that exist rather than start from new or scratch. I am an ostrich about politics, news, current events, pop culture and media. I dislike clichés and most positive quotes, under thought things meant well, commonly said quotes and phrases. Don't tell me what to do, don't ask me "how how are you?" or say "I'm sorry for your loss" unless you want to annoy me or you really, really mean it. And know it can be hard to tell which it is, and I'm wrong not infrequently. 30 Day Challenges are my thing. I have a tendency to make things every day things. This is where 30 Day Challenges come from! Like yourself. Know yourself. Express that self. Peepers are my favorite sound. Triangles are my favorite shape. 54 is my number. I never need to talk but thank you for offering to listen. If you say I'm overthinking it, I'll probably say you are underthinkig it. why I do what I do: I want to "make you" THINK. I don't mind if your experience and perception of me "makes you" be more mindful, use your brain more, "think too much" or consider something more carefully, or differently, or moves you to be (more) thoughtful or intentional or authentic. I am a hugger and I mean my hugs. I don't like to have scheduled things. The days where I have something scheduled are a certain category of feeling. I'm not very fond of pre sign ups, committing to things in advance externally. My favorite days are the ones I call "blank slate days". Nothing scheduled, nothing formally EXTERNALLY committed (I am full of internal commitment and ideas all the time, so no day is truly uncommitted). use the moons I love rules and I am a ruler follower. I like a cup to fill. So which is it Kym. Do you like wide open clean slate no commitment things? Geez what a walking contradiction. A biggest when to which Witch!? what's in this email: the bad eggs fall away maybe it really is time to SLOW DOWN like the signs say Tuesday September 22,, 2026 9 AM Greetings you Thinkers, You know how I do the "monthly recaps"? Reviewing the month, seeing what stands out, what I did, what I said, themes and thoughts, and then I put all of that into one write, one email. Well I did that for running with turtles and slowing down this morning because I think that topic has come to a head. I think it's time to actually do it....

What's in the bag of this time of life? Duck is still sick. Coughing and hacking and retching, sneezing. It's weird to see a dog have a cold. Wiping his snotty nose... And I am worried and concerned and thinking about if and when to take him to the vet along with all my stuff of medical system resistance. Do we really need to...
